In accordance with DIN 2001, the denitrator is used in own and individual water supply systems in which the nitrate concentration exceeds the maximum level of 50 mg/l prescribed by drinking water regulations. The European Community even recommends a guideline level as low as 25 mg/l. The capacity of the denitrator is designed so that it can supply both single and multiple-family houses with low-nitrate water for all usage purposes.
