Cleaning the water surface The
concentration of contaminating materials is greatest in those areas of
the water close to the surface. It is important that these areas are
treated as quickly as possible. This is the job of the JUDO Surface
Cleaner (suction of the water through the filter system). The
alternative to the surface cleaner system is a pool equipped with an
overflow channel, usually with a vertical flow (from bottom to top).
The water running out via the channel is collected in a compensation
container, then filtered and disinfected, and finally pumped back into
the pool via bottom inlet nozzles. A pool equipped with an overflow
channel is however more complex and costly to build.
Cleaning the floor of the pool Despite
the creation of an optimum flow in the pool, it is often avoidable that
some materials sink and become deposited on the floor of the pool. The
JUDO Floor Cleaner works like a vacuum cleaner, and is a convenient and
useful aid.
